George V Leather Top Mahogany & Brassware Campaign Pedestal Desk

A majestic brassbound mahogany campaign pedestal desk, made for use in a military establishment during King George V’s reign of the United Kingdom.

You can see the craftsmanship throughout this piece, fitted with it’s original flush military brassware which has been brought back to life. The gold tooled inlaid navy leather has been expertly made especially for this desk adding even more exclusivity.
 
Each pedestal has 4 single graduated drawers with the desk top possessing the central drawer. Interior of the drawers are mahogany lined with dovetail joints, another sign of it’s quality. Desk can also be a freestanding piece if need be with the rear being solid mahogany and polished to give you this option. The top of pedestals have the King’s stamp as seen in listed images. The desk doesn’t just look luxurious but you can feel it too, by the textures of the leather and woodwork or simply feeling how seamless the drawers open & close.
