19c Teak Dockyard Campaign Chest of Drawers

A marvellous teak dockyard campaign chest of drawers c.1880
 
This Victorian piece is made from a wonderful high quality teak. The woodwork has a fabulous colour & detailed grain. Restored to keep the age & stories from its well traveled life in tact.
 
The flush fitting solid military brassware handles, escutcheons & locks are all original. Teak bulb shape feet the chest stands on are also original. Both halves of the chest lock into place to keep secure. 5 drawers for ample storage.
 
Interiors of the drawers are finished with finely crafted dovetail joints.
 
This beautiful piece of furniture is a fantastic find & would be a special addition to enhance any home.
